What is the opportunity?
Cumberland Council use the SProc.Net portal for their Home Care category. This is a Qualified Provider List, allowing any provider who meets the criteria to offer their services to Cumberland Council.
Through the introduction of more choice in the market, the Council are ensuring that they follow best procurement practice by allowing healthy competition for each requirement. The Qualified Provider List will allow the Council to improve the sourcing process and deliver efficiencies both internally and for suppliers as well. Importantly, the Council want to ensure that all suppliers are operating at a similar level of quality and so only those suppliers that meet the Council's minimum quality criteria will be invited to tender for individual contracts through the Qualified Provider List.

1. Register for an account on SProc.Net
2. Fill out an Accreditation form for Cumberland Council's Home Care category
3. Submit an Enrolment form and select the types of services you can provide
